Home \ Product Guides \ Lister Star Horse Clipper – Common Questions
Most commonly, this is a result of the reset popping out. If this happens, the clipper will not turn back on until it has been pushed back in.
To do this, use a pointed object, such as the end of the cleaning brush, to press the button back in, listening out for a “click” sound.
The reset button is located at the back end of the handle, beneath the mains cable.
If the motor has blown, the unit will have to be sent to a repair centre.
To prevent the issue from re-occurring, ensure the user is:
– Oiling regularly every 5-10 minutes with R15 Clipper Oil
– Setting the tension correctly, 1.5 turns back
– Keeping the clipper and filter clean
– Using the correct blade type for the application
